Rowanthwaite Village Hall

Ah… here you are.Come in, dearest.
The lamps are already lit.
It is dark early now.Welcome to our Village Hall, our place of kinship, where the good folk and visitors of Rowanthwaite gather to warm our hands in front of the open fire and catch up with the goings-on.There’s always something
happening here in Rowanthwaite,and now,
you too can be part
of our little, sacred village
beneath the Rowan Star.Yes, that’s Mr. Wise Owl perched
up there on the rafters
(as usual),
shuffling papers, muttering about ‘proper organisation’ and ‘village standards.’You’ll get used to him …Dear, here’s a hot apple
cinnamon tea. 🫖Are you joining us for the
Winter Pilgrimage? We were expecting you!You are! That’s wonderful,I think you will enjoy it.Just take your time, and you will
see and learn splendid things
about our village between worlds.’Miracles of Good’ are just one of the things that make
Rowanthwaite so special.Do you believe in miracles?Yes?Oh, that’s good, as miracles are quite commonplace in Rowanthwaite! We say ‘Blessings come
with a cup of tea’.
🍃 🍂 🍃 🍂 🍃 🍂 🍃 🍂 🍃 🍂 🍃
Now, do have a wander round the Hall first and drink your tea.The Pilgrim Path is on the half hour … so there is plenty of time. You can look at the latest news on the noticeboard as you make your way over to the fire.Yes, to get your 🗺️ Map and other Pilgrims Path essentials,
you must collect your passport from the passport office next door.First, you will just need to sign for
your slip so we know
who is on the Path each day.You do that with Sydney over there, Yoo-hoo! Sydney! see him waving to us at the table beside the fire!He is the one to see to sign for your pass. That’s right. When you are ready, make your way over to Sydney by the fire.Once you have your pass you will just pop next door to the Village Passport Office.Mr. Wise Owl will issue it, and the faeries will ensure you are properly prepared and refill your flask. That’s right dear, over there with Sydney to sign your name first when you are ready. But do continue to have a wander round first and drink your tea, there’s no rush at Rowanthwaite…
